Serving Ellon

Website & Brand Design in Ellon

Ellon's been growing fast for years — new housing, new independent shops on Bridge Street and Station Road, and more competition than there used to be.

A growing town means more competition, not less

As the "Gateway to Aberdeenshire," Ellon has picked up a lot of new residents commuting into Aberdeen, and with them, a steady stream of new independent businesses — cafes, salons, tradespeople, small retailers. That's good for the town, but it also means a new business opening nearby is more likely than it used to be, and a dated or slow website makes it easier for a customer to just try the newer name instead.

It's around a 35 to 40 minute drive from my base in Mintlaw, which is comfortable for an initial meeting or a photo session, with most of the ongoing work happening remotely over calls and email.

For newer businesses especially, getting the brand and website right from the start — rather than patching together a free logo and a Facebook-only presence — makes it easier to look established from day one, even if you've only just opened.

TODO: add a real example of a project completed for a Ellon business here, with client permission.
