Website & Brand Design in Peterhead
Europe's largest whitefish port, a working harbour, and a town centre full of independent businesses — plenty of them still relying on word of mouth alone.
A working town that deserves a working website
Peterhead's economy runs on the harbour — fishing, seafood processing, and the energy and decommissioning work that's grown up around the port — alongside a proper town centre of independent shops, trades and hospitality businesses. It's a town of people who work hard and expect the businesses they use to be straightforward and reliable, and that's exactly what a website or Facebook Page should signal too.
I'm based in Mintlaw, about fifteen to twenty minutes down the road, so meetings in Peterhead are easy to arrange rather than a big ask. Most projects run over calls and email regardless, with a site visit where it's useful — for photos, for example, if you don't have any usable ones yet.
For fishing and marine-related trades, seafood businesses and harbourside hospitality, a fast site with clear contact details and real photos of your boat, premises or product tends to matter more than anything flashy. For retail on the high street, a Facebook Page that's actually kept up to date is often doing more work than the website.
TODO: add a real example of a project completed for a Peterhead business here, with client permission.
